My Pledge to You

6. I will conduct all consultations in complete confidence, and will not share private details without your express permission.

CONSULTATIONS

Communication Protocol

My preferred method of communication is to work remotely, often using a photograph of your animal (though it's not necessary in order for me to make the connection) and some basic details (the animal’s name, age, breed, address). I encourage you to submit specific questions that you would like me to ask your animal, to ensure that you receive the information you are seeking.

I will also make onsite visits to stables and farms, if this is preferred. Rates are available upon request. Payment can be made by check, in person, at the time of the visit.

Please contact me first by phone or Email, to arrange an appointment, before sending payment. You may elect to pay via Paypal (see below) or just send a check.

For long-distance sessions, I will communicate with your animal “offline” and will then type up a transcript of our conversation, which I will send to you via Email or regular mail, whichever you prefer.

We will then schedule a time to discuss the communication by phone, so that I can better describe any nuances that can not always be accurately conveyed in a written message, and talk with you about questions or issues that may arise as a result of the information I received during my session with your animal.

I allot approximately 90 minutes for each consultation, as follows: actual communication with your animal (30-45 minutes); preparation of written transcript (15 minutes); followup telephone call, after you have had an opportunity to review the transcript (30 minutes).

It's a good idea to contact me before sending payment, so I can be sure to respond as quickly as possible to your questions or concerns.

Please note that I am not currently taking lost animal cases, but would be very pleased to refer you to one or more reputable communicators who specialize in this work. If you know where your animal is, but have been unable to persuade him to come to you, I can often assist with these situations.

I offer discounts for multiple animals. The usual fee for one animal is $65.00; for two animals: $125.00; for three animals: $180.00.

For emergency consultations, to be done on a same-day basis, the fee is $75.00. Please call me before submitting payment for these sessions, to ensure that I will be able to respond in a timely manner.

The fee for a consultation with a cat with cancer is $40.00, with the balance underwritten by Casey's Legacy.

For a barn visit, with a minimum of two horses, the fee is $75.00 per horse, including travel expenses up to an hour's drive from Sterling, Massachusetts.

You may also purchase gift certificates for one or more consultations (the same fee schedule applies). Just stipulate that you're buying a gift certificate when you make your payment via PayPal or by check.

I am always available for follow-ups, in the event that the initial communication opens new areas that you would like to explore. The fee for a follow-up consultation, within 14 days of the original session, is $50.00.
